First event on the program – Sunday 6th February 2022
Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens – Mt Tomah – Bells Line of Road. The gardens are open every day and on Sundays from 9.30am. Entry is free.
28 Hectares to explore and you will find plants from around the world, especially the southern hemisphere. The garden has lovely picnic spots, tables and free electric BBQ,s. Kiosk and restaurant are also open but we should pack our own lunch. Grading – easy and at your leisure with a few ups and downs but well laid out walking paths. Distance from Mudgee 170km – approx. 2 hrs but well worth it.

Meet at 8.00am: Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro St end) at 8.00am for meet and greet, necessary paperwork and/or carpooling. Re- meet at 9.00am – Capertee Rest stop.
What to bring: Morning tea to share, Lunch to eat, Water to drink, Hat and good walking shoes/boots to wear, walking poles(optional) The leader will have all “emergency” equipment on hand.
