30th Canberra walking Festival – Now Called Aussie Peace Walk and organised for the first time by ACT Rotary Clubs, held over the weekend of 26 & 27 March 2021. 480 participants of which 7 from our club were easily spotted in “green” Ole & Gretha Kroll, Sue & Colin Todd, Elly Rands, Jenny Macnaughton and Johanna (Joby) Mitchell.
With the walk distances chosen by each member to suit their agility; Saturday a 7km or 12km or 21km with the same distances on the Sunday. Members found this a great way to explore Canberra and the outskirts. To receive the Aussie Peace Walk Medal you must have walked both days! The dates are set for 2022. (26 & 26 March 2022).
