Bushwalkers and bike riders congregated at Lawson Park, Mudgee on Sunday 18th December 2016, at 5:30PM, to celebrate another successful year. The end of year function was organized by the committee of the Mudgee bushwalking and bike riding club.
The members arrived one by one, joyful and in high spirit, bringing variety of foods and drinks to share with each other. They commenced by arranging tables and chairs, while in the nearby vicinity other members started loading canoes onto the river.
The afternoon began with several activities such as canoeing, social exchanges around tables while taking pleasure in nibbles, drinks and finger foods. Eunice Marskell’s specially made “punch” drink received favourable appraisal by members. Towards the evening, BBQ was fired and dinner served, followed by sweets such as pavlova, slices and so forth.
That concluded another great year for the club.
