19 members and visitors set out on the Tullymore horse stud on 30 October for a walk through the bush on this private property in Merriwa.
The Tullymore horses’ welcome committee awaited the walkers and keen to see what was going on. The sunny and warm weather with a light breeze was ideal for walking the track past interesting caves and rock formations.
After the lunch break part of the group decided to extend the walk of approx. 6.5klm for another 1klm to the highest point of the property to be rewarded with a beautiful view and the discovery of one of the most beautiful caves in the area.
