Type of Activity: Bushwalking and/or Cycling in Kosciuszko National Park. Area: Based at Pygmy Possum Lodge, Charlottes Pass.
Activities: Choose from the many walks in the Charlottes Pass area …. you won’t get to do them all! Bike Rides can be gravel biking or road biking….will include a ride to Rawsons Pass just below Mount Kosciuszko with ascent to the top before returning. Walks could include the recently opened 9km walk between Charlottes Pass and Guthega which crosses the Spencers Ck via the highest suspension bridge in Australia. You can read about this and other walks/rides on the NPWS website. Familiarise yourselves with the surrounding area, visit Thredbo and use the ski chair to get to the top or just chill… Conditions: Summer in the snowy can be mild but also very cold when those winds start blowing.
Accommodation: 54bed/28 room lodge at Charlottes Pass. Each room has an ensuite. Rooms have single, double or queen. You can visit the website Elouera Ski Club for information on the lodge. Cost (accommodation): $384pp for 7 nights Sunday to Sunday. (Book as a ‘group booking”)
