Saturday 3rd October to Tuesday 6th October 2020. Four Days three nights!
In Karen Riley’s feedback: “Six Foot Track, accomplished! This was a challenging walk for most of us! Thanks to the encouragement and guidance of our leader Eric Caswell everyone had an enjoyable experience and made it to the finish line. Eric’s support and humour very much appreciated by everyone on the walk – Brian, Bill, Nicole, Feroz and myself. A big shout out to our president and secretary Joby and Elly for all the organising they did for us to get this trip up and walking. So 46k’s, four days walking with backpacks containing everything we’d need for sleeping, eating and anything else over those days, on this iconic Australian walk. Great companionship along the way, beautiful scenery, interesting people we met, and those mountains! The track climbs a total of 1,528m, and drops a total of 1,788m. No wonder we have sore legs !I think we all achieved something, and in Eric’s words all took something away from this walk .It was also fantastic to have our own little cheer squad at the finish line, thank you Elly and Joby!” The end of an amazing walk, for more pics check out the facebook page in the coming days.
