Time: 8:00 Meet: Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro Street entrance) for registering and carpooling optional.
Just a short distance from township of Mudgee (directions will be given at Lovejoy point/briefing)
Descriptions/Conditions: Walk north from ‘Kempton’s’ place, cross Lue Road and onto private property. Ascent southern slopes of Buckaroo Mountain, then to Trig Stn (approx 4km from start). Mostly clear tracks though a bit rocky in place on top with some fallen timber to negotiate. A couple of steeper hills at the start.
Noting: Private property – Directions will be given on the day at Lovejoy Street carpark. Noting walk 10 minutes’ drive time from Mudgee.
What to bring: snacks, drinks & a packed lunch to have along the way.
