Walk: Wellington -Waterloo Trig Trail

Grade: Medium/Hard  Distance: 7km circular trail  Walk time: 3 1/2-4hours.

Meet: Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro Street entrance) for registering and carpooling optional.
Time: 7:15am and re-meet and arrive at Old Reservoir Picnic Area- Wellington at 8:30am. 
Will need to head off early -start as the weather is likely to be warm.

Walk starts at Bushrangers Creek Road at the old reservoir picnic grounds, along grassy dirt tracks up to the trig, at the top of Mount Wellesely, for some great panoramic views. From there is heads east with a steep descent before heading north and returning to Bushrangers Road.

The trail shows off the over 400 native species recorded in Mt Arthur Reserve of and including Pea Flowers, Gold Wattles, Bluebells, and Bugle Flowers.

What to bring: Bring morning tea and lunch to have on the track. Morning tea at the trig, and lunch at the creek. Trail is overgrown in places, and some rock scrambling needed. There is an elevation gain of 350m, so steep sections. 
Walking pole, Long pants, gaiters recommended. plenty of water, PPE for the weather.
Essential: club Equipment will be utilised and delegated, briefing prior to walk.
