Welcome to the 2025 with a brief message:

Mudgee Bushwalking and Bike Riding Club Inc has many activities planned well in advance for the upcoming cooler months. The dedicated committee are once again meeting early February to aim and to organise those events. We have some great leaders to keep the ball rolling once again this year and thank them for their extra time and effort.

As with the activities the riding contingent (cyclists) have been out and about early to beat the heat: Mudgee group meet-up each Tue/Thur. – a friendly ride with a coffee reward for both groups, whilst the Rylstone/Kandos group meet-up Mon/Wed/Fri.

As always members are asked ‘where would they like to walk’ with walks most commonly set fortnightly on a Sunday has been the general consensus. Members your input is valuable please get in touch.

So a few dates to notch up on your calendar’s; Day Walks/Multi Day Walks, the choice is yours!

February: will be incredible as a lot of training and planning has gone into the New Zealand Adventure and also the Kosciusko trip’s. Squeezed in between: 9th February a training day, with 23rd February a local State Conservation Area to be explored; with more details to be emailed to members, after committee meeting.

March has the Canberra trip joining in on the Aussie Peace Walk – aussiepeacewalk.com.au The Aussie Peace Walk is on the last weekend in March. Comprising of a choice of 2 of the eight walking options (held over two days)! Fee.

9th March activity to be confirmed, 21-23rd March a multi-day walk planned for ‘Mt Victoria via Blue Gum Forest and the Grand Canyon.

April: 13th -more details coming soon, 27th -Dunns Swamp and Beyond, with more fortnightly adventures coming our way.

May: Once again calling on volunteers to assist with the Mudgee Cycling Classic (Date required=4th May)

There is the favourite Pipeline Walk up again and also Coricudgy area to be explored and a visit to the Warrumbungles, just to name a few. All and more details can be viewed on the club’s website calendar: www.mudgeebushwalking.org.au & Facebook will have the updates.
