Mt Arthur Reserve – Bushrangers Creek Road, Wellington. Sunday: 20 February 2022
Situated just on the outskirts of the township of Wellington the Mount Arthur Reserve is a crown reserve set aside for public recreation and environmental protection. It is 563metres above sea level and covers an area of over 2000ha, with 400 native plants recorded on the reserve. There are many trails, however the club will be taking an approx 4km trail to stretch the legs. After the walk a trip out to the Wellington Caves area for your picnic lunch. Meet at 8.00am: Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro St end) for meet and greet, necessary paperwork and/or carpooling. What to bring: Morning tea to share, picnic lunch to eat, Water to drink, Hat and good walking shoes/boots to wear, walking poles (optional). Leader(s): Gretha & Ole Kroll.
