Walk: Wollemi National Park -Coricudgy (Options)
Call of the Mountain Weekend Adventure – September 19th and 20th. Coricudgy Mountain –near Rylstone.
Option A Saturday 19th – Sunday 20th Meet at Lovejoy Str carpark at 7.00am. Drive to Rylstone then onto the foot of Coricudgy mountain. Private property – seeking permission to leave the cars. By 10am set off to conquer the mountain. The track is a fire trail predominantly gentle up hill – rated easy to medium. Arrive at about 1.00pm – 2.00pm. Have lunch, set up camp, admire the view – have a drink (or 2) Camp overnight.
Option B Sunday 20th Only – Mountain Bike Riders and assisted Walkers
Meet at Lovejoy Str carpark at 7.00am. Drive to Rylstone then onto the foot of Coricudgy mountain. You can ride the mountain or walk as much or little as you like. 4WD vehicle to assist.
Sunday only walkers to provide a BBQ lunch to have on top of the mountain together with the ones that camped overnight. (this is were the 4WD vehicle comes in so we don’t have to carry the lunch) As (Elly) refuses to walk up a hill – let alone a mountain. A lunch (tba) to be provided – as long as you have RSVP’s and use the 4WD to get up the mountain. LEADER: Eric Caswell
